Start with ground and loads
Soil, made ground, tree influence, drainage, slope, frost, access and structural loads affect the foundation decision. A generic screw count or slab thickness is not a substitute for assessment and design.
Where ground screws fit
Ground screws can reduce excavation and wet trades and may be installed efficiently by specialist teams. Suitability depends on verified ground response, screw type and length, layout, connection detail, access and design load.
Concrete and alternative bases
A concrete slab, pads, strips or another engineered solution may be selected for ground, floor or project reasons. Compare preparation, programme, excavation, drainage, insulation junctions and tolerances—not only upfront price.
Forti Nova's regional advantage
Across suitable North West projects, Forti Nova can coordinate ground testing, screw installation and the interface to the steel frame. This removes a common gap between foundation contractor and frame supplier.
